About Us

Captain Dean Portis-Love 

 Captain Dean Portis-Love U.S. Navy Retired is the author of the trade memoir New Techniques in Modern Practical Close Combat. He is a quad academy (USMA West Point, USNA Annapolis, USAF Colorado Springs, and USCGA New London) close combat instructor and former Naval Special Forces Unit Commander. Captain Portis-Love was awarded the Silver Fist in 2002 commemorating greater than 3,000 close combat engagements and The United States Medal of Fighting by Vice President Al Gore in 1999 and was inducted into The International Hand to Hand Hall of Fame in Seoul South Korea in 2005. He lives in the San Diego area. 

Steven Conrad

 Steven Conrad is the writer/director of the Amazons series Patriot, the Epix series Perpetual Grace, LTD and the AMC series Ultra City Smith. He is the author of the narrative podcast The Integral Principles of the Structural Dynamics of Flow and performs and writes in the Chicago/Nashville band The Jones Sisters and in the Chicago band Air Blue Gowns.

Sean Hurley

Sean Hurley is a writer and voice actor from New Hampshire. Sean’s been working with Steve for longer than he can remember and is very grateful to have been on the writing staff of several Elephant Picture TV shows, including Patriot and Perpetual Grace.
